Taranaki Water Supply Meter - New Plymouth District Council

This dataset displays the water meters and restricted flow devices within the New Plymouth District area. A water meter is a device used to record or inhibit the flow of water through a pipe. Water meters are usually positioned on the water connection to an individual property yet flow meters may be positioned on mains to record flow for Councils use. Restricted flow devices are used to restrict the flow of water in areas with reduced pressure. The data has been compiled from a number of sources and its accuracy may vary. This data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. NPDC recommends that you independently verify the accuracy, currency and reliability of any information upon which you intend to rely. The GIS data made available by NPDC may be amended and updated by the Council without notification. There may be significant delays before data is updated to reflect changes in an area.
