Pestfish

New Zealand Freshwater Fish Database (NZFFD) observations for the occurrence of catfish, goldfish, koi carp, gambusia, perch, rudd and tench in fresh waters of New Zealand. Includes site location, species present and abundance, as well as information such as the fishing method used and a qualitative assessment of the site’s physical features. Data are contributed voluntarily by NIWA, fish and game councils, the Department of Conservation, regional councils, environmental consultants, universities, and interested individuals. The NZFFD is maintained at NIWA Wellington, with libraries of the field forms held at Hamilton and Christchurch.
