Auckland Park Building - Auckland Council

This polygon feature class describes the outlines of buildings that are owned and maintained by Auckland Council, or are (privately owned) buildings with ground leases on council owned land. This data was a product of consolidating legacy GIS datasets from the previous regional council and seven city and district councils. Since amalgamation in 2010, the data has been updated by Asset Information Management teams. Polygons are captured from as-built drawings and digitised from urban aerial photography. Locational accuracy and attribute information is captured from field validation and inspections during site audits.
